*The Vice Chancellor's Awards for Professional Staff Excellence will not be held for 2021
The Vice Chancellor's annual Awards for Professional Staff Excellence offer University-wide recognition of outstanding contributions by professional staff.
The awards are based on the following categories of excellence.
The categories are:
Nominations may be for individuals or teams, and for work within a particular area or across the University as a whole.
Recognising excellence in developing innovative transformational infrastructure and systems which support:
Excellence in creative and innovative solutions which either:
Excellence in providing outstanding service:
Recognising excellence in leadership by:
Excellence in engaging with Industry and/or wider community through:
UniSA contract and continuing professional staff are eligible for any of the five categories.
Exemplary contributions and achievements may be as a result of team effort or the efforts of an individual. These awards recognise both.
If making a team nomination, it is important to ensure that each team member can be shown to have made an outstanding contribution to that team's achievements.
Some achievements or contributions by staff may be relevant to more than one category of award. However, in making nominations, please select one category that best fits the individual or team achievements and write the nomination to that category.
All nominations for the Vice Chancellor's Awards for Professional Staff Excellence should be made using the Nomination form. The Nomination form includes additional guidelines for preparing the nomination.
Supporting statements may be gathered separately and included as e-documents.
