Submit a Self-Placement

Most students are not able to submit self-placements. Not all programs include the option for students to nominate a self-placement.

If you need to apply for rather than nominate a placement see the Opportunities Guide.

About Self-Placements

Self-placements are an opportunity for students to find an agency and suggest a placement. You many need to seek approval from your Course Coordinator first. This feature is where you provide the details of proposed dates, agency details and the contact person at the agency.

Submit a Self-Placement

  1. Login to InPlace: from the InPlace URL. See the Login Guide.
  2. The default landing page is the Home tab. You can return to this tab by clicking Home in the top left of the menu bar.
  3. Scroll down to under the Confirm and Available panels to To Do.
  4. Click the blue expand > arrow at the end of the Self Placement submission.  screenshot self placement

  6. (Optional) Save as draft and return to your submission via the link in your To Do list on your InPlace home page.
  7. Click Submit.

Note: Once you have successfully submitted your Self Placement you will not be able to see your application on InPlace until it has been approved or rejected.
