Description

A-Maze Maths is a component of the UniSA STEM Girls agenda, encouraging girls to continue the study of science and mathematics throughout their schooling and into university.

A-Maze Maths is designed to empower girls to pursue careers in mathematics. The program brings together like-minded girls from a range of schools in an immersive maths learning experience. Students will engage in experiential sessions, hear from academics and researchers and have the opportunity to network with each other.

Conditions

• In the first instance, each school can nominate a maximum of five students.
• Students will be expected to return a completed student consent form at registration on the day. 
• Teachers will receive confirmation of booking and pre-visit information via email.
• As this program is a practical activity, students will be required to wear closed-in shoes and appropriate dress.
• The session runs from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm.
• A Parental Consent Form and Talent Release Form must be completed for each participating student and returned to Wirringka Student Services.
