On Campus Workshops

UniSA Counsellors offer a range of on campus workshops designed to help you develop skills to help you meet the demands of studying at University and maintain good health.

Bookings for all workshops are essential as spaces are limited. If you cannot attend, please cancel your booking to make space for someone else.

Introduction to Mindfulness

This introductory workshop covers the principles and practice of mindfulness; a skill for restoring a sense of calm and clarity to your mind. The workshop will focus specifically on mindfulness skills that will help you to:

  • improve your focus and concentration,
  • cope with study related stress and pressure and
  • make study life more enjoyable.

You will be guided through a range of simple exercises and techniques in the workshop and provided with resources that you can put into practice immediately.
