Personal Counselling

Do you need help managing a personal issue that affects your studies?

As a UniSA student, you can access free and confidential face to face counselling at Centacare located at 28 Head Street, Whyalla.

To phone for an appointment, please call (08) 8645 8233. Please be ready to provide your student ID number to the counselling service.

If you have experienced sexual violence, you can also call 1800 737 732. Other support contacts are available here.


Disability Service

Does your disability, mental health or medical condition impact on your studies?

Meet online with a Disability Adviser who can help you develop a Disability Action Plan so you can perform at your best.

Wirringka Student Services

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander studentshave access to a range of tailored services, including tutorial assistance, scholarships and access to an Aboriginal Student Engagement Officer.

Whyalla has an Aboriginal Student Engagement & Community Officer based on campus. Please visit Campus Central on campus to make an appointment.

A Career Adviser can help you plan your career, get yourself ready for the workplace and find a job.

Check the Career Services Portal regularly for a full list of current placement, internship and job opportunities.

You can make an appointment to speak with one of our Career Advisers on the phone or online through Campus Central on campus.

A Career Adviser will also visit your campus during the year, so look out for announcements in the quarterly Regional Student E-Zine.
