Become a PASS Leader

Role of the PASS Leader

PASS Leaders serve as peer facilitators during PASS sessions. This role requires PASS Leaders to be familiar with the subject outline and weekly content being covered by lecturers and tutors. The PASS Leader’s role is to model and encourage effective study behaviour. To form the basis of their sessions, Leaders combine specific study skills with key course content; integrating what to learn, with how to learn.

PASS Leaders know:

  • How and what to study
  • What material to focus on
  • How to interpret the Subject Coordinator or Tutor’s expectations.

Am I eligible?

Eligible applicants are required to:

  • Maintain a GPA of 5.5 or higher
  • Have received an HD or D in the course(s) they wish to facilitate
  • Have a minimum of 12 months left in their degree
  • Be available for a compulsory group interview and separate training day.
