Talk to a Learning Adviser

Learning Advisers can provide individualised study and assignment guidance to all undergraduate and postgraduate by coursework students. Areas we can assist with include:

  • Understanding different kinds of assignment tasks
  • Writing essays, reports and other types of assignments
  • Academic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills
  • Understanding feedback and applying self-editing skills
  • Referencing and academic integrity
  • Adapting to university study
  • Time management strategies

We can also help develop your self-editing skills and grammar, but be mindful that we cannot edit or proofread your work.

Book a 30-minute appointment to speak with a Learning Adviser in person, via Zoom or over the phone.

Important things to note:

  • Each student can have up to 4 appointments within a period of 90 business days with a Learning Adviser.
  • Be mindful of your assignment due dates and plan ahead so you can get the most benefit from seeing an adviser.
  • If you are a Higher Degree by Research student (PhD or Master of Research), please visit UniSAEDGE for support.
