Are you a HDR candidate, or an early- to mid-career researcher driven by the desire to make a difference? Do you believe that your research has the potential to create positive change in the world? Look no further – this Experiential Learning Program is just for you!

 📚 What to Expect:

The Base Program is a hands-on, online experiential learning program designed to help researchers understand the importance of creating positive impact with their research, and give them the tools and skills they need to do so. 

• communication skills to articulate the value of your research
• tools and methods to identify and engage with potential industry, government and community partners
• skills to uncover the problems that potential partners want to solve, and how your research might help.

 🕒Commitment: 

We suggest you allocate 15 hours across 4-6 weeks to fully engage with the program.

The time commitment required for the program includes:

• participation in a 3-hour online workshop
• self-paced online learning modules and activities
• 30 min 1-1 coaching call with program facilitator.

 🎓Who Can Apply?

Base is open to continuing and completing HDR candidates and early- to mid-career researchers across Academic Units and Centres. 

 

The next iteration of Base will run in early 2025.
