The Researcher Development Team is committed to supporting researchers across all disciplines and career stages—from Higher Degree by Research (HDR) candidates to senior-career researchers. We provide targeted development opportunities designed to enhance research skills, foster career progression, and build research leadership capabilities while strengthening UniSA’s research community.
Working closely with the Researcher Development Action Group, we deliver a range of innovative initiatives, including Writing Retreats, Action Learning programs, Base, Trek, and the ECR Academy, to equip researchers with tools and strategies to navigate the evolving research landscape. Through continuous program evaluation, we enhance these offerings and identify new opportunities to accelerate learning in our dynamic environment. We also manage UniSA’s EDGEx/myRD platform, enabling researchers to plan and track their development at every stage of their career.
We also facilitate industry engagement by supporting researcher participation in programs such as the National Industry PhD Program, CSIRO iPhD, and various internship opportunities.
