EDGE Bulletin

October 2020

Welcome to your UniSAEDGE Bulletin.

Welcome back! It's great to see each other in person as many have recently returned to campus.

Designed to help you make the most of your EDGE experience, this edition of the EDGE Bulletin shares upcoming development opportunities available to book now in EDGEx, and connects you to alumni for your Career Conversation. You’ll also find a current candidate’s story in the EDGE Spotlight – in this edition Sam Rudd shares his skills development experience, and how it’s helped shape his post-PhD career.

EDGE activities and the Recovery Roadmap.

The EDGE team has been working closely with Academic Units to increase the range of activities addressing the needs of specific disciplines. The Research Education and Library teams are also busy planning for 2021. Let your REPLs/RDCs or your local HDR support teams know what you'd like to see in EDGEx.

EDGE providers are continuing to offer activities via Zoom as well as in person, where it suits the activity. The activity description and notes will include the details for Zoom and in-person, where both options are available.

Remember you can record details of other non-UniSA online development offerings by completing the Self Record an Activity form once you’ve finished the activity, to populate your EDGE Portfolio.

HDR-specific COVID-19 information is available on the UniSA website. For health and wellbeing assistance, advice and support, please contact seu@unisa.edu.au

We look forward to helping you develop your EDGE throughout 2020!
