The Executive Partners Program

The Executive Partners Program is a unique opportunity for high achieving postgraduate students to engage in a mentoring relationship with an experienced senior executive, who can provide you with one-on-one guidance and help you achieve your career goals as you move through your coursework or research studies. Your Executive Partner can help you:

  • identify and develop strategies to achieve your career goals
  • develop your employability skills
  • identify areas of personal and professional development

Am I eligible to apply?

All current postgraduate UniSA Business students (Grad Cert, Grad Dip, Master, MBA and HDR) regardless of their mode of study (internally, externally, full-time, and part-time), who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for admission into the Executive Partners Program:

  • Have successfully completed at least nine units of coursework study; or six months of HDR study
  • Have at least 4.5 units of coursework study remaining or three months of research study remaining
  • Have a GPA of at least 5.5* for coursework and/or mid-senior career experience; No GPA applies to HDR students

*This criteria may be varied at the discretion of the selection panel.
*Recent UniSA Business graduates who have completed postgraduate study within the last three years are also eligible. However, priority will be given to current students.

Participant commitment

We recognise that at postgraduate level you may be juggling a range of priorities in conjunction with your studies, so the Executive Partner Program has been designed to be very flexible. To participate in the program, you will need to commit to:

  • An interview
  • Adhering to the Mentoring at UniSA Guide
  • A minimum of one year of mentoring with your Executive Partner, or over the entire course of your study
  • Completion of a mentoring agreement
  • Providing feedback upon completion of the program
