Official Teaching Break Letter Request Form

To request a Confirmation of Official Teaching Break letter from the University use this form.

Official teaching breaks are considered to be outside of the Universities advertised core teaching and assessment periods (including the exam periods) for each study period.  Please check the academic calendar for further details.

Please be aware that the Department of Home Affairs refers to the University’s advertised core teaching, exam and assessment periods (even if students do not have any exams or further assessment tasks) to confirm dates of official teaching breaks.

Please make sure you include all relevant information before submitting your request to avoid delay. This includes ensuring you are enrolled for your next semester (if applicable)

It will take 2-3 working days to complete your request. All letters will be sent to you via your student email. If we require information you will be contacted via your student email or the telephone number provided on this form.
