Curriculum design: course quality checklist - research-informed online course design

The course quality checklists support an evidence-based approach to planning new courses or reviewing the learning design of existing courses.

Based on an extensive literature review and backed up with resources that include exemplars from your colleagues across UniSA academic units, these tools can be used by individuals or teams.

The lists include guidance on content and formative activities to make your courses more engaging, design tips for better student experiences, social interaction elements, summative assessment and the application of design and technology. All of these elements are included based on international, evidence-based good practice in online education in higher education.

For more information, watch the introductory video below or visit the CQC Moodle course to download the lists or to browse the supports and resources.
