Authentic Assessment Statements

A key deliverable of the Authentic Assessment Project, which will contribute to and form the basis of the implementation strategy, is Authentic Assessment Statements. These statements will be a form of self-assessment of course assessments led by Academic Unit Teaching & Learning Strategy Groups (TLSGs), with support from Academic Unit Program Directors, Deans of Programs, and the Assessment Design Lab.

Authentic Assessment Statements will articulate the authenticity of each assessment, as per UniSA's Authentic Assessment definition, within courses across a program, making the connection between assessment and professional competencies explicit to both the student and teaching staff (this includes academics and casuals).
