Workshop: Delivering Engaging Online Tutorials

Whether you are excited about teaching online, or wish you were excited and want to be inspired, this workshop is for you!

Previously known as Engaging Zoom Tutorials for Tutors, this workshop is for staff who teach synchronously online (e.g. via Zoom).

The aim of the session is to think about how you can be a good teacher in a synchronous online setting. Throughout the workshop, you will experience first-hand a variety of tools and features that you can use to engage learners in your tutorials.

Delivering engaging online tutorials is available for research degree students. Enrolment is through EdgeX for participation to be recorded.

What is Zoom?

Zoom is a video communication tool which can be used for a variety of purposes and TIU offers extensive help resources to get you started with Zoom including hardware requirements such as headsets, webcam and Zoom meeting configuration.
