Preparing for Your Performance Development & Management (PDM) Conversations

This session will provide staff with the opportunity to understand their role and responsibilities within the University’s Performance Development & Management (PDM) process, and how they can actively contribute to productive and successful performance conversations. This session will involve key information regarding the PDM process, together with a chance to apply the learning in a safe, risk free environment.

In this session, we will cover topics including:

Preparing for your PDM – what do you need to know?
PDM forms and resources available
Core Attributes and development opportunities
Giving and receiving feedback

Learning outcomes:

Key information to navigate the PDM process effectively and fulfill your responsibilities as a staff member
The opportunity to develop your understanding of the core attributes and how they contribute to PDM conversations
Working knowledge of the resources, tools and support available
An understanding of contemporary approaches to giving and receiving feedback.
