Manager's Guide to Performance Development & Management (PDM)

Target group: Staff with direct reports

This session is designed to support managers understand their role and responsibilities within the PDM process, and provide them with the tools and techniques to navigate the PDM process effectively, from preparation to having the conversation

Participants will have the opportunity to hear from People, Talent & Culture specialists, engage in practice and discuss common challenges in an open and collegial environment with their peers

Learning outcomes

Participation in this session will support leaders to:

Understand why we invest in PDM
Understand their role and responsibilities as leaders within the UniSA PDM process
Recognise the critical success factors for effective PDM

Develop an understanding of contemporary models used in PDM to support setting goals and providing feedback
