Teaching at UniSA

Teaching at UniSA is part of the Academic Practice at UniSA program and introduces new continuing and sessional academic staff to teaching and learning at UniSA. Participants discuss a range of teaching and learning topics drawn from their experiences and how they apply to a UniSA perspective.

The one-day Teaching at UniSA course covers:

  • Introduction to Teaching and Learning at UniSA
  • Good practice principles in Assessment
  • Academic Integrity
  • Student Diversity
  • Digital Learning
  • Evaluating Teaching
  • Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL)

Sessional academic staff can attend Teaching at UniSA with approval of their Head of School or Associate Head of School. If approved, sessional staff are paid by their School at the 'other academic rate'. The Learning and Teaching Unit will notify the School of attendance after the Teaching at UniSA sessions.
