The Armstrong Flooring Award in Architecture is awarded to a student enrolled in the Bachelor of Architectural Studies for academic merit in the courses Design Studio 2 (ARCH1003) and Architecture and Environment (ARCH1020).

The Armstrong Flooring Award in Interior Architecture is awarded to a student enrolled in the Bachelor of Interior Architecture for academic merit in the courses Interior Architecture Studio 2 (Materials and Practices) (ARCH1035) and Interior Architecture Studies (ARCH1031).

Architecture Media through its design journal 'Artichoke' offers a prize for one final year student at each of the interior design/interior architecture degree courses in Australia and New Zealand. Awarded to a final year student who demonstrates excellence in the visual, written and verbal communication of their final ARCH 4012 (Interior Architecture Studio 8) project.
Value: 2 year subscription to 'Artichoke' magazine and image of project citation in an issue of 'Artichoke' magazine.
Awarded for object-based studio work to an outstanding graduating third year student in the Bachelor of Contemporary Art program offered by UniSA Creative.

The Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA) provides four awards annually to support students in illustration and animation, and communication design:
1. Australian Graphic Design Association – Best Illustration and Animation Portfolio Award
Awarded annually to a student from the Bachelor of Design (Illustration and Animation) program who is exhibiting in the end-of-year exhibition. Selection will be based on student portfolio presentation in the end of year exhibition.
2. Australian Graphic Design Association – Best Illustration and Animation Project Award
Awarded annually to a student from the Bachelor of Design (Illustration and Animation) program who is exhibiting in the end-of-year exhibition. Selection will be based on student portfolio presentation in the end of year exhibition.
3. Australian Graphic Design Association – Best Communication Design Portfolio Award
Awarded annually to a student from the Bachelor of Design (Communication Design) program who is exhibiting in the end-of-year exhibition. Selection will be based on student portfolio presentation in the end of year exhibition.
4. Australian Graphic Design Association – Best Communication Design Project Award
Awarded annually to a student from the Bachelor of Design (Communication Design) program who is exhibiting in the end-of-year exhibition. Selection will be based on student portfolio presentation in the end of year exhibition.
Value: each recipient will receive a 1-year Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA) graduate membership valued at $120 and a certificate of achievement. The graduate membership will occur in the year following selection
For over half a century the South Australian Chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA) has awarded prizes to outstanding students studying Architecture at UniSA and its antecedent institutions.
The AIA Prize (SA Chapter) will be awarded to students based on academic excellence across the 5 years of the following degree programs in Architecture at UniSA:

Each category winner will be determined based on the highest grade received and the prize money will be divided across the 5 categories.

Awarded to the student enrolled in the Bachelor of Interior Architecture who achieves the highest aggregate mark in the following courses:

This award was established in memory of Cecil Teesdale-Smith who was a lecturer in Literary Studies at the Magill Campus.
The award is for excellence in creative writing, and is offered on an annual basis.

The Constance Gordon-Johnson Sculpture Prize will be offered to final year students enrolled in the Bachelor of Contemporary Art‚ or Bachelor of Art and Design (Honours) studying in the field of Sculpture and Installation, which is part of the UniSA Creative program. The annual prize is to assist with the professional development of the award recipient/s in the field of art practice.

The Friends of the South Australian School of Art‚ Inc Prize‚ valued at $1‚000 is available to full-time or part-time students who are undertaking a Bachelor of Contemporary Art or Bachelor of Design (Communication Design) program at UniSA.
The prize will be awarded to the student with the highest GPA completing the second year of the undergraduate degree program.

The Hames Sharley Prize in Architecture recognises outstanding academic achievement by a student enrolled in the final year of their undergraduate architecture program. It provides support for the graduate's transition into the professional Master of Architecture Program.

The Hames Sharley Prize in Interior Architecture recognises outstanding academic achievement by a student enrolled in the final year of their undergraduate interior architecture program. It provides support for the student's transition into professional practice, provides an opportunity for employment in interior design practice, and promotes membership of the Design Institute of Australia.

The Hodgkison Graduate Prize in Architecture is awarded to a final year Master of Architecture student based on academic excellence and demonstrated integration of design‚ environmental‚ technical‚ theoretical and professional communication skills and knowledge in their final project.

Awarded to an outstanding student majoring in Painting and graduating from the Bachelor of Contemporary Art.

The Laminex Prize in Interior Architecture Innovation is awarded to a Bachelor of Interior Architecture student who demonstrates outstanding design innovation in Interior Architecture Studio 6: Work Placement (ARCH 3013). Shortlisted students will present their work to a selection panel comprised of representatives from the Laminex Group and the UniSA Creative.
Value: The prize consists of a one-day session with Laminex's International Colour Consultant in Sydney or Melbourne and attendance at a major national industry event, including flights and accommodation.
Awarded to a student enrolled in the Master of Architecture who has previously completed the Bachelor of Architectural Studies and has gained the highest aggregate mark in the courses Architectural Design Studio 5 (Construction) and Advanced Architectural Design Studio (Construction).
Value: $1,000 to be used for architectural travel and study approved by the Executive Dean
Open to students in UniSA Creative with at least one enrolment in UniSA Design Construct courses in the year of award. The award is in memory of Nicholas (Nick) Opie‚ co-founder of UniSA’s Design Construct program. The award recognises outstanding performance in and contribution to the Design Construct program as judged by the Design Construct Program Coordinator(s).

Awarded by UniSA Creative to the most outstanding third year student in a UniSA Creative photography course. Please note: the Atkins Prize may be awarded to one student or split between two in the event of equal achievement.

The Polyflor Award for Sustainability in Interior Architecture is awarded to a student enrolled in the Bachelor of Interior Architecture for the application of sustainable design principles in the course Interior Architecture Studio 7: Atmospheres (ARCH 4011).
Up to three students who demonstrate high achievement in the integration of one or more of the UNESCO Global Goals for sustainable development in ‘Interior Architecture Studio 7: Atmospheres (ARCH 4011)’ will be selected and invited to attend an interview.
This award is not open to applications.

The President of the Friends of the South Australian School of Art has provided a prize for a graduating student in contemporary art who has produced a first-class body of work, shows artistic leadership among their fellow artists, both students and teachers, is best able to articulate their philosophy of the arts, and has a clear perspective on the artistic direction they want to pursue.

Awarded to the student from UniSA Creative with the most outstanding final year exhibition presentation in Interior Architecture.

The Shape Australia Prize in Interior Architecture is available to all students enrolled in ARCH 3058 Interior Architecture Studio 6 (Workplace Environments). The prize winner is selected based on demonstrated excellence in the final assignment in this course. The prize is judged at the end of Study Period 5.
Value: two weeks work placement and an iPad tablet (value: $600)
The Shared Arts Residency is a valuable opportunity for Contemporary Art students to continue to develop their ideas and skills through a residency in Burra.
The eligible programs are:
• Bachelor of Art and Design (Honours)
• Graduate Diploma in Design (Contemporary Art)
• Master of Design (Contemporary Art)
Essential Criteria:
• Australian Citizen, or Australian Permanent Resident or international student.
• Full-time or part-time study load.
