This event is designed to support new managers as they step into their roles.
Throughout the event, you will hear insightful presentations from senior leaders, gaining valuable perspectives on leadership, company vision, and key strategies for growth. In addition, there will be focused sessions to help you build a deeper understanding of the people resources available to you, equipping you to make informed decisions and lead with confidence.
The event will also provide time for networking, allowing you to connect with peers and experienced leaders and share best practices.
Manager Essentials comprises two half-day sessions delivered one week apart. Both are a requirement for your manager induction, and both need separate registration.
Manager Essentials is divided into two parts:
Part 1 - Manager Essentials event: Hear from senior leaders and gain insight into the creation of Adelaide University.
Part 2 - Performance Development Management (PDM) Coaching Conversations: Apply a coaching lens to enhance PDM conversations with team members.
