The Scholarships
The South Australian Government will once again fully fund five South Australians to participate in the Southern Hemisphere Space Studies Program in 2022.
The International Space University and the University of South Australia thank the South Australian Government for its strong support of the program.
The Program
The Southern Hemisphere Space Studies Program is an intensive, five week, program, involving the international, intercultural, and interdisciplinary educational philosophy for which the International Space University (ISU) is renowned. Open to qualified Australian and international participants from all disciplines, the eleventh SH-SSP will be conducted on campus from 16 January to 17 February 2023.

The scholarship benefits
The five South Australian residents selected will receive payment of a full scholarship to the value of A$17,000 for attendance at the Southern Hemisphere Space Studies Program from 16 January to 17 February 2023.
Applications will be evaluated by a Selection Committee according to the criteria listed below, and scholarships will be awarded to the applicants whose applications best address the selection criteria.
Who is eligible to apply?
University graduates and undergraduates who have successfully completed at least two years of their studies at the time of the program and:
Award of the scholarships will be based on motivation, financial need, merit and impact. Particular consideration will be given to applicants of Australian indigenous background who fit the above criteria. Indigenous applicants are requested to make reference to this in their enrolment documentation.

Applicants wishing to be considered for the South Australian Government scholarships must include their university transcripts with their enrolment documents, even where this is not a general requirement for enrolment.

Conditions of award of scholarship
The scholarship winners may be requested by the program organisers to carry out the following actions following the program:
