Casual/Visitor Parking

Casual/Visitor parking is available for students, staff, contractors and visitors at Magill and Mawson Lakes campuses. There is no provision for Casual/Visitor parking at City Campuses.

Parking Zones

Vehicles without a valid permit/payment or parked in the incorrect parking zone will be issued with an Expiation Notice as all vehicles are monitored by license plate recognition (LPR).

 

UniSA PARKi App

The UniSA PARKi App enables students, staff and visitors to pay for parking fees via your smart phone using Visa or MasterCard. Bank and merchant fees for credit card payments are paid by the University.

Parking fees apply during the hours of 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Tickets can be pre-purchased from 7am. Payment for parking is not required on weekends or on South Australian public holidays.

Download the free UniSA PARKi App (Once off registration).

  1. Select the car park zone,
  2. Enter your correct vehicle registration
  3. Select parking duration
  4. Start parking session

 

Pay-By-Plate Machine

Pay-By-Plate machines enables students, staff and visitors to pay for parking fees using coins, Visa or MasterCard. Bank and merchant fees for credit card payments are paid by the University. 

Parking fees apply during the hours of 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Payment for parking is not required on weekends or on South Australian public holidays. 

How to use Pay-By-Plate machines by Coins

  1. Enter your correct vehicle registration number
  2. Insert coins. Machines do NOT provide change. To refund coins, press CANCEL.
  3. Press TICKET on the machine to print parking receipt - The receipt is NOT required to be displayed

How to use Pay-By-Plate machines Credit Card

  1. Enter your correct vehicle registration
  2. Select the duration time by using the + or – button
  3. Insert or Tap your Visa or MasterCard and wait until instructed to remove the card
  4. Collect the ticket from the machine - The receipt is NOT required to be displayed

 

Contractor Parking

Parking at Magill and Mawson Lakes campuses is available within the Casual/Visitor parking zones. There is limited Contractor parking at City campuses.

All Contractors attending any campus MUST report their vehicle registration number to FM Assist upon signing in and will be advised of the local procedures for Contractor parking. Contractors who have not registered their vehicle details or parked within an incorrect parking zone will be issued an Expiation Notice. Fines will NOT be waived.

Contractors delivering materials and tools to the work site, may park in allocated loading zones but these are not intended for extended periods of time, with a general provision of 30 minutes maximum. Vehicles exceeding this limit will be issued with an  Expiation Notice.

 

Reporting Faults

Please report any faults immediately to your local FM Assist office.
