By agreeing to invigilate a UniSA examination, you are confirming the following:
You will receive a hard copy of the Checklist for an External Exam Centre or Private Invigilator supervising UniSA exams with the delivery of exam paper/s. The Checklist will provide information on actions and processes to complete before, during and after the exam. Please keep this with you on the day of the exam to ensure you are following UniSA policies and procedures correctly.

You will be required to fill in an Incident Report if an issue has occurred that does not involve academic misconduct, but needs to be brought to the attention of the Exams and Results team.

Issues which are to be documented on Incident Reports could include:
Student Illness
If a student becomes unwell and is unable to continue with their exam, an incident report for student illness needs to be completed. The student should be advised to contact Campus Central on 1300 301 703 as soon as possible if they require any information regarding options that may be available to them if they are unable to sit the exam due to illness.
You will be required to fill in a Breach Report when you believe that a student has breached examination conditions, for example cheating at an exam. When completing the report, be factual, do not make assumptions or display pre-conceived prejudices when describing the incident or breach.
It is IMPERATIVE that all relevant fields are populated in legible handwriting with particular attention given to details and accuracy of description.
Attach photocopies of cheat notes or any other corroborating evidence to support the report.
These breaches will be brought to the attention of the Academic Integrity officer who will investigate the matter. Academic misconduct is treated very seriously by the University.
Should a hearing take place at a later date in regard to the academic misconduct, you may be contacted to discuss any evidence that you have provided on the form.
Students are permitted to continue with their exam, however it is imperative that the breach report is sent back with the student’s exam paper. If you are unsure of the process or have any questions, our team can be contacted at exams.results@unisa.edu.au or phone +61 8 8302 2755.

No, the exam time and date cannot be changed and must be held as per the Distance Exam Centre Pack Cover provided with the exam paper.
The exam materials will be sent to invigilators approximately 1-2 weeks prior to the exam date.
Invigilators need to record if the student(s) attended, and return this together with the completed exam paper and all other exam materials.

You should record on the Distance Exam Centre Pack Cover that the student(s) did not attend the exam(s), and return this together with all other exam materials to the Exams & Results Team.
