Credit is the formal recognition at UniSA of prior learning and previous work/life experience. When credit is awarded to a student, they receive either recognition of specific courses that are part of their program or a specific amount of units towards a specific requirement for their program. Students are not required to enrol and complete courses for which they have received credit.
Students are required to formally apply for Credit, and documentary evidence must be provided to support the credit application. The approval of credit applicants is at a Program Director's discretion. Once a credit application has been approved it is recorded on the individual student's record on Medici.
To apply for credit use the Credit Assessor. Approved credit is viewable in myUniSA. Please see the Campus Central site for more information regarding credit.
