InPlace

InPlace is the University's web-based placement management system and is used to capture student Work Integrated Learning (WIL) activities. It connects the University’s WIL teams, Academic staff, students and WIL providers to coordinate activities undertaken across all stages of the WIL lifecycle. This database enables the University to accurately plan, record and report on WIL activities.

InPlace is used to:

  • Capture and manage student WIL related requirements including compliance documentation
  • Manage and store WIL provider information including agreements and WIL requirements
  • Plan, manage and record WIL activities
  • Send communications to students, WIL providers and supervisors
  • Manage and send feedback surveys and assessments to students, WIL providers and supervisors.

Staff Access and Training

Staff who participate in Work Integrated Learning (WIL) related activities and require access to InPlace will need to submit an InPlace Access request form.

Before you can apply, you will first need to successfully complete the InPlace Access Training relevant to your position. The training will give you a basic understanding of the system and the functions available to you.
