Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement

What is an AHEGS?

The AHEGS (Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement) is the result of a Commonwealth Government initiative that aims to make Australian qualifications recognised throughout the world. The AHEGS aims to provide greater transparency about the level and context of an award, and the status of a Graduate's achievements. AHEGS include details of any prizes, scholarships and grants a graduate may have been awarded. The statement contains details and features of your conferred award, and this is particularly relevant to graduates and employers where practical experience is a component of the program. Where professional recognition is part of a conferred award, it will be included in the statement.

When do students receive an AHEGS?

Following conferral of your award your AHEGS will be issued as a certified document via My eQuals.

It is important to check your UniSA email account for notification advising a document is available in My eQuals.
