At UniSA the superannuation contributions made on your behalf will be detailed in your employment contract. The minimum legal requirement is 9.5% (increasing to 10% from 1 July 2021) known as ‘superannuation guarantee’ and in some circumstances you may receive up to 17% of your salary in employer contributions if you are a continuing or fixed term contract staff member. From 30 June 2021, all continuing and fixed term contract staff will receive 17%. You may also make contributions yourself and we encourage you to seek advice to help inform your decisions.

UniSA do not provide choice of fund for employer contributions, as our Enterprise Agreement requires that contributions must be paid to UniSuper.
