Foundations of Leadership

Foundations of Leadership has been designed especially for UniSA staff who are new to leadership or who are beginning their leadership journey.

Being a new leader can be a challenging time, and this full-day workshop will explore practical strategies to build your leadership capabilities as you navigate the transition from team member to team leader.

Learning outcomes:

Following this workshop, participants will:

Understand the key aspects of managing and leading a team
Consider what motivates themselves and their team
Have explored the science and art of delegation
Recognise how and when to give feedback to build performance and relationships
