PTC website updates

Most PTC teams have their own web author that are able to create or update new webpages on the PTC website, but please contact the HR-IMTeam for web updates if required. If web authors require assistance, please contact the HR-IMTeam@unisa.edu.au or CMK via webenquiry@unisa.edu.au.

PTC can also edit the 'Working at UniSA' webpages with the exception of the 'Careers at UniSA' webpages which are hosted externally.  Within this site, position 'microwebsites' are now created using the PTC Recruitment web template designed by CMK. Please contact the HR-IMTeam@unisa.edu.au or CMK via webenquiry@unisa.edu.au for assistance.

EpiServer (CMS) access & help

If you are a PTC staff member requiring access to edit the PTC Website or wish to access EpiServer help resources, please see the CMK Website CMS Access and User Training webpage for assistance. If creating pages or documents, the CMK Our Brand page maybe useful and/or the UniSA image Asset Bank. Episerver also provide assistance via the Episerver User Guide.

Siteimprove optimisation tool access & help

Siteimprove is an external optimisation tool that helps us better manage our website content. It regularly crawls our webpages to detect issues that impact content quality, accessibility, search engine optimisation, misspellings, broken links and more. These insights are organised into simple reports that make it easy to identify and improve the content on our website.

All web authors are encouraged to make use of Siteimprove. See the CMK Siteimprove optimisation tool webpage for more information on how to access and use the tool including the SiteBites training videos. These are 15-minute 'bite sized' training videos designed for all UniSA web authors. Each video will give you tips and tricks on how to improve website performance using Episerver CMS and Siteimprove.

Current project - performance & accessibility

CMK is working with representatives across the University to improve our performance and accessibility ratings. PTC is also looking after the performance of the Disability Hub for the purpose of the 2021 Key Objectives. Web authors can refer to the CMK Accessibility webpage for guidelines on accessibility. There are also training modules that can be accessed via the CMK website or within Siteimprove.

CMK has advised that the University follow the SA Government’s advice on accessibility and strive to adhere to Level AA conformance as per the WCAG 2.0 accessibility guidelines. There are three levels of conformance (A, AA and AAA) with Level A as the minimum level of conformance.
