Governor’s Leadership Foundation Program

Nominations are now open for the 2025 program

Great leadership is the cornerstone of our success at UniSA and enables an enterprising culture that builds high performance and delivery of our strategic ambitions.  As part of our continuing commitment to the growth and development of our leaders, UniSA will provide sponsorship for two UniSA staff members to be part of the 2025 GLF cohort.

The GLF program is a unique and challenging ten-month program, providing an experiential development opportunity that aims to enhance and accelerate leadership capability for established and emerging leaders in their field who demonstrate the potential to become outstanding leaders.

Eligibility

To be eligible for consideration, nominees should be academic staff at level D or E, or professional staff at HEO9 and above. The anticipated participants will be in leadership roles or be responsible for people and resources across functions to ensure the full learning experience can be applied.

Program Commitments

The program is prestigious and well regarded but is also intensive so you will need to be prepared to commit, and your supervisor prepared to allow a significant amount of time to complete the program. This will include weekend workshops, overnight retreats, and out-of-session activities.

The full schedule of dates can be found on the GLF program home page.

Nomination Process

Nominations may come from a supervisor or other senior staff member but must include a statement from the relevant area manager that they support the time release required. The program cost will be funded centrally as part of our leadership development initiative.
