Connecting to UniSA VPN after installing f5 BigIP Edge Client on Windows

Important:

The use of all Information Technology (IT) facilities at the University of South Australia, including the UniSA wired and wireless networks, is subject to the University's Acceptable use of Information Technology (IT) facilities policy


NOTE:
For security it is always a good practice to disconnect from the VPN when not in use.

  1. Either:

    1. Click up arrow, far right of Taskbar (near clock and calendar) to display more system tray items
    a. Click f5
    bottom right.png

    1. Type Big in Type here to search option
    a. Click BIG-IP Edge Client

  2. Click Connect

  3. On the page that appears, enter your UniSA Username and Password and click Sign In

  4. Click Send Code

  5. Enter the verification code that you received via SMS
    Note: if you do not receive the code, click on the Re-send code button imageqa35.png

  6. Click the Verify button
  7. You will now be able to access your resources as if you were on a UniSA campus.

    a. Click BIG-IP Edge Client

  2. Click Connect

  3. On the page that appears, enter your UniSA Username and Password and click Sign In

  4. Click the Configure factor button

  5. Enter your Country
  6. Enter your Phone Number
  7. Click Send code

  8. Enter the verification code that you received via SMS
    Note: if you do not receive the code, click on the Re-send code button

  9. Click the Verify button

  10. You will now be able to access your resources as if you were on a UniSA campus.
