Audio Visual Consultation Services

Information Strategy and Technology Services (ISTS) provides Audio Visual (AV) consultation services for Academic and Professional units requiring AV installations and/or upgrades and work closely with the Facilities Management Unit (FMU) to ensure AV builds are cost competitive, consistent, compliant, and state-of-the-art.

Consultation on Large AV Builds

Consultation on large AV builds includes the following:

  • Assist with the selection of a suitable external AV Consultant.
  • Provide a point of contact to work with external AV Consultants to ensure the specification for the AV build complies with the University's Audio Visual Standards & Specifications.
  • Recommend suitable AV Integrators from the UniSA approved panel of vendors.
  • Coordinate build activities with the Facilities Management Unit (FMU) and external building contractors.
  • Assist with the creation of Request for Quote (RFQ) and tender documentation for AV Integrators.
  • Provide resources to assist on AV RFQ and Tender Evaluation Panels.
  • Procurement and equipment order management.
  • Assist with AV Integrator liaison, quality assurance, testing and training.

Consultation on Small to Medium AV Builds

Consultation on small to medium AV builds includes the following:

  • Design and develop a specification for the AV build that complies with the University's Audio Visual Standards & Specifications.
  • Recommend suitable AV Integrators from the UniSA approved panel of vendors.
  • Coordinate build activities with the Facilities Management Unit (FMU).
  • Assist with the creation of Request for Quote (RFQ) and Tender documentation for AV Integrators.
  • Provide resources to assist on AV RFQ and Tender Evaluation Panels.
  • Procurement and management of equipment orders.
  • Assist with AV Integrator liaison, quality assurance, testing and training.
