GraphPad Prism for UniSA Staff & PHD Students

GraphPad is a versatile statistics tool purpose-built for scientists-not statisticians. Get a head start by entering data into tables that are structured for scientific research and guide you to statistical analyses that streamline your research workflow. No coding required.

UniSA has a licence agreement for purchasing GraphPad, the cost of each licence needs to be funded by the user’s unit. An annual licence needs to be purchased for each UniSA device it will be used on.

What are the license conditions?

GraphPad licences can be requested by staff and PhD students by completing a Software Licence Application.

Undergraduates will require their Academic Unit to approve and provide cost centre details for the purchase of a licence through the IT Help Desk. Units will be contacted by ISTS for the yearly renewal of GraphPad licences.

Conditions apply for the use of this University licensed software. These include:

UniSA licensed software is not to be used for personal purposes and cannot be used for commercial gain.
Under no circumstances can application software or license activation keys be copied from the University software distribution server and taken off-site.
You will read and abide by the license agreement(s) associated with this Software.

Is there a cost for GraphPad Prism?

The annual cost for GraphPad is listed on the Software Licence Application form.

How can I install GraphPad Prism on my University owned computer?

Once you have been approved for a GraphPad licence, it can be installed via the Software Centre on any Windows UniSA computer. This is a self-install service whereby you are able to install certain applications yourself. Using this process GraphPad will be activated automatically.

Apple users will contacted by ISTS for assistance with installing GraphPad on MacOS.
