Things may have changed at UniSA since you last studied and we suggest you read through the following:

Before students can enrol in a course they must be active in a UniSA program (whether undergraduate or postgraduate). The university will send successful students an email to confirm this. If you have not received an email or you are not sure about your program you will either need to speak to your specific academic unit or Campus Central.

Student accounts have limited access until they have successfully enrolled in one or more courses at UniSA:

  • First year students have allocated course enrolment commencement dates, dependent on the program they are active in.
  • Continuing students will receive an email advising when they will be able to enrol in the following years courses.

Once new/returning students have enrolled (continuing students ensure they retain access to the below) the following will be granted to their account:

The IT Help Desk will always endeavour to assist students where they can with IT related issues. If the issue resides on the student's personally owned device (POD) the IT Help Desk is limited in the support they can offer.

If you are enrolled in consecutive Study Periods (SPs) (this includes SP5 one year and SP2 the following) there will be no change to your access.

If you need to take leave from study and wish to retain your access, you will need to complete a leave of absence form.
NOTE: Student IT access is automated and there is nothing the IT Help Desk can do to prevent changes from happening or extend access.

  • Studying a short course or program through UniSA
  • Discontinued from their UniSA Program
  • Not enrolled for one or more Study Periods (SPs) for the Academic Calendar
NOTE: This is only valid for students who have not completed a leave of absence form.

NOTE: If you fall into one or more of the above you will need to save copies of course material and/or OneDrive file(s).
