Returning UniSA owned hardware/devices

All UniSA hardware must be returned to ISTS Campus IT when it is no longer required by the assigned user. This includes situations where staff or students are leaving the University.

If a device is being assigned to another user, it should still be returned to ISTS Campus IT to allow any personal data or software from the previous user to be removed from the device, the device will also be checked and updated ready for use by the new user.

Please contact the IT Help Desk to arrange a device to be returned.

TIP: This form can be submitted to arrange hardware collection if there is a lot of hardware which is no longer required.

Staff or students leaving the University with a UniSA device assigned to them should return this to their manager (or supervisor for HDR students).

The manager/supervisor should contact the IT Help Desk to arrange for the device to be returned to returned to ISTS Campus IT to ensure any personal data or software from the previous user is removed from the device.

Please include the following information when contacting the IT Help Desk:

  • Blue Plate Number of the device
  • Current location of the device
  • If this device is needed for another user
