What is OneDrive?

OneDrive is an online service provided by Microsoft where you can create, upload and share files and access these from a web browser.

OneDrive provides:

  • Online storage
As of August 2019 available storage space is 5TB.
  • Convenience
No matter where you are - on campus, at home, on the move or on the train - you have access to the documents stored in your OneDrive as long as you have an internet connection. You can even download the OneDrive app for your smart phone to view your files while you're on the move.
  • Control
You can choose to share specific files or folders with specific people, either at UniSA or external. You can modify file permissions so that you can edit and work on your files without having to be in the same room.
  • Publishing power
Got something amazing you want to share? Easy, share links directly to your folders, files and photos from your OneDrive to your blog or webpage.

For other options see OneDrive for Staff or OneDrive for Students.
