Within the room, locate the 8-button control pad or touch panel, these are usually located in the front of the room near the teaching position or near the light switches.

Presenting from the provided PC

  • Simply select "PC" button on the control pad or touch panel. The display/projector, video and audio systems will power up automatically after a short delay.

Presenting from your own device (BYOD)

  • Select the "HDMI" button on the control pad or touch panel. The display/projector, video and audio systems will power up automatically after a short delay.
  • Connect your device via HDMI using the provided cable, wall plate or cablebox in the room. These are generally found nearby the control pad or on the lectern.

Once you have completed your lesson, please ensure to turn the system off to conserve power and leave the room ready for the next user.

Simply go to the control pad or touch panel in the room that you used to start the system and select the "Power Off" or "Off" button, whichever is available.

On a touch panel there may be a confirmation prompt which appears, be sure to select the option to proceed with shutdown if this is the case.

Using the PC with the AV system

The installed PC, is generally installed in the rack and accessible via the front door cut out.

If you find that you have started the AV system, but there is no display you may want to try and wake the PC (by clicking the mouse or keyboard)

If the above did not work, the PC may be powered off. Simply press the power button on the front of the PC in the rack.

Connecting a USB storage device

If you have files that are not accessible via the UniSA network, you can connect a USB storage device (ie USB harddrive or thumb drive) to the computer to access your files.

Once logged into the PC, simply connect your USB to the USB slots on the AVPC monitor or to the front panel of the PC in the rack.
