Webcasts allow a Panopoto session to be live-streamed while it is recorded. This means users can share their presentations with others remotely with minimal delay. Panopto Webcasts have a 20-30 second delay and include discussion features to allow viewers to post questions and interact with the session.
There is no limit on the number of viewers you can have on a Panopto Webcast. However, if you are expecting more than 1,000 viewers, please notify the IT Help Desk.
Note: Panopto does not support two-way video, live-streaming is a one-way video and audio stream. If you require two-way audio and video, please see Video Conferencing.
