Lecture Theatre (AV25)

This is an AV25 Audio Visual system. Suitable for lecture theatres and other similar spaces. It is one of the most common AV systems used at UniSA. Featuring a HD projector, large projection screen, speakers, installed AVPC, and BYOD HDMI connectivity, all controlled using a lectern mounted touch panel controller.

This system is the successor to the now deprecated AV05 specification.

Use

This design is suitable for the following use:

  • Viewing capacity of up to 600 seated participants.
  • Discursive and didactic teaching with a dedicated presentation location.
  • Media playback with installed speakers for audio.
  • Installed AVPC for use by UniSA staff.
  • BYOD connectivity via a HDMI connection.
  • Flatbed document camera with front and backlighting.
  • Lecture Recording System.

This design includes the following AV equipment:

  • Full HD laser projector (instant on/off) with motorised projection screen.
  • Permanent lectern with AV rack inbuilt.
  • Lectern mounted touch panel.
  • Wireless microphone system with handheld and lapel microphones.
  • Installed AVPC, monitor & keyboard and mouse.
  • BYOD HDMI connectivity.
  • Flatbed document camera.
  • Video & audio processing equipment.
  • Lecture recording appliance & lights.
  • Installed speakers (to suit room).
  • Network switch.
  • Network-connected power distribution unit.
  • IR hearing augmentation.
