Collaborative Laboratory (AV35)

This is an AV35 Audio Visual system. Suitable for large teaching laboratories and other similar spaces, the AV35 feature multiple LCD displays, speakers, installed AVPCs, BYOD HDMI & scientific instrumentation connectivity, all integrated using centralised control.

Use

This design is suitable for the following use:

  • Viewing capacity of up to 50 seated participants.
  • Discursive and didactic teaching with a dedicated presentation location.
  • Distributed displays throughout the space to allow easier viewing for all users.
  • Media playback with installed speakers for audio.
  • Installed AVPC for use by UniSA staff.
  • BYOD connectivity via a HDMI connection.
  • Document camera with controlled lighting.
  • Video inputs for scientific instrumentation.

This design includes the following AV equipment:

  • Teaching location with AVPC & BYOD HDMI connectivity.
  • Large LCD displays.
  • Wireless microphone system with handheld and lapel microphones.
  • Document camera.
  • AV over network video & audio switching.
  • Installed distributed ceiling speakers.
  • Network switch.
  • Network-connected dower distribution unit.
  • IR hearing augmentation.

Optional changes to this room design include:

Projector

  • Adds a front of room 100" projection system for greater didactic teaching.
