The following is a handy list of links you can follow to ensure that you have backed up the necessary items from the old UniSA windows computer and are ready to configure and use your newly designated computer.

For the Old Computer

For the New Computer

  • Installing additional software via Software Centre instructions.
  • VPN: Recommendations are that if using your laptop from home you should connect to the VPN first before trying to access any UniSA service, for further information see the f5 BigIP edge VPN instructions.
  • Adding a shared mailbox instructions.
  • Printer(s): Please note that it is recommended that you now use the follow-me queue for printing which is installed and setup by default.  This will allow you to send your document to the queue and release at any follow me enabled printer with your UniSA ID card.  If you have a dedicated printer (not networked for general use) or do not have follow-me enabled on your Units printer, please refer to instructions how to add an individual queue.
  • Connecting to UniSA wireless instructions.
  • How to map a network drive instructions (Note you will already have your U: (username) drive mapped and S: (teams ORG share) mapped).  This will be for any additional drives that you require. Ensure you notate down these paths.
